About Me

Projects

Technical Merchant Support Gauntlet

This app is so good that it doesn't work at the moment, but I promise it worked at some point. Maybe.

I started this project as a way of learning Rails, React and integrating Polaris. It ultimately didn’t become a tool the team adopted, but it was still a great learning experience!

It’s been our mission to make commerce better for everyone

I’ve been on the rocketship that is Shopify for almost 6 years now. My job has ranged from planning Shopify Support’s international expansion, log diving to help merchants solving technical issues, documenting technical changes of new frontend stack, to consulting on integrations with Shopify’s largest merchants.

Education

University of Toronto

BSc BA Cognitive Science and Artifical Inteligence, BA Psychology

2006 - 2011

It was founded by royal charter in 1827 as King's College, the first institution of higher learning in the colony of Upper Canada...The university is commonly ranked as the best Canadian university.

During my time at Uoft, I learnt two things. First, A.I. is really hard and impossible to implement. Second, coming to terms with the fact that I spent 5 years of my life learning the first thing. In all seriousness, the degree in Cog Sci and AI allowed me to dabble in computer science, neuroscience, philosophy, psychology and linguistics, providing both a balanced education and pragmatic skills.
